Starwood to Open 22 Hotels in China in 2014

Starwood Hotels and Resorts continues its rapid China expansion this year through its Aloft, Four Points, Westin, The Luxury Collection, W Hotels, and Sheraton brands.

Starwoods will open 22 hotels throughout China, second only to the number of expected openings in the Americas, according to Hospitality Interiors.

Of the 22 new openings planned for China, 14 of them are under the Sheraton brand. Here is a list of the China hotel launches for 2014:

Sheraton Qingdao Licang Hotel, Shandong – opening February
Four Points by Sheraton Hefei, Shushan, Anhui – opening March
The Westin Chongqing Liberation Square, Chongqing – opening March
The Westin Qingdao, Shandong – opening March
Sheraton Shanghai Jiading Hotel – opening March
Sheraton Shaoxing Keqiao Hotel, Zhejiang – opening March
The Westin Haikou, Hainan – opening May
The St Regis Chengdu, Sichuan – opening May
W Beijing – Chang’an – opening June
Sheraton Changde Wuling Hotel, Hunan – opening June
The Westin Zhujiajian Resort, Zhoushan, Zhejiang – opening June
The Castle Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Dalian, Liaoning – opening June
Sheraton Nanchang Hotel, Jiangxi – opening July
Four Points by Sheraton Hefei, Baohe, Anhui – opening August
Aloft Guangzhou University Park, Guangdong – opening August
Sheraton Zhengzhou Hotel, Henan – opening August
Sheraton Wuhan Hankou Hotel, Hubei – opening September
Sheraton Huangdao Hotel, Shandong – opening September
Sheraton Zhanjiang Hotel, Guangdong – opening September
Sheraton Zhuhai Hotel, Guangdong – opening October
