Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts wants to be the premier luxury hospitality brand in China and it is investing heavily. With three established properties in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Macau and two more hotels opening, in Hangzhou and Guangzhou, this year, the Company has nine more properties in development including the Company’s first two resorts in China.
“More business and leisure travelers are visiting China than ever before, and with that comes increased expectations for superior service and product of the highest quality,” says Kathleen Taylor, president and COO of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “And critically, as the Chinese travel more frequently within the country and around the world, they’ll look for a brand they already know, and can trust. Our goal is to make Four Seasons the number-one choice of travelers to, from and within China.”
By 2014, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts will be in Beijing, Shenzen, Qingdao, Hainan at Shenzhou Peninsula, Hainan at Sanya, Suzhou, and Tianjin.
