Angling for a piece of the growing luxury eco-tourism market in China, naked Stables Private Reserve, a resort that opened in October, offers guests a luxurious rustic experience.
A perfect oasis for wealthy urban Chinese, this eco-boutique hotel is hidden in the bamboo forest of Moganshan Valley in Zhejiang Province, which is about two hours from Shanghai.
The idyllic 60-acre resort site offers two types of accommodation, sleek and modern treetop villas or treehouses and earthen huts. Guests can partake in a number of outdoor activities like fishing, tea picking, horseback riding and hiking at nearby bamboo forests.
The huts start from 2,600RMB/night, and the treetop villa rooms from 2,900RMB/night.
