In July, Hong Kong-based jewelry retailer Chow Tai Fook introduced a platinum series “Floral in Water”  in mainland China.

Inspired by different forms of water, such as water-drop, creek and whirlpool, the series of seven collections include bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings.

Jewelries have always been one of the must-have items for Chinese women. Though younger women with western taste prefer less expensive, alloy-based jewelry designed in an eye-popping way, most office ladies still prefer understated jewelries made of  gold or platinum, such as those sold in Chow Tai Fook and Chow Sang Sang, both of whom have built a solid customer-base in China in the past two decades.
