Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week A/W 2015 wraps on March 31st after a week-long run in Beijing. China Fashion Week was again an international affair, as in years past, but this one seems to have the Chinese tourist in mind with a particular emphasis on brands from popular Chinese travel destinations in the Pacific Rim. The show featured a mix of Chinese Fashion Week mainstays such as Bosideng, Dancing Wolves, JeansWest, W&F Bird, and Sheguang Hu, along with a number of exciting upcoming Chinese fashion designers such as RanFan, JNBY, ILOVECHOC, and FADVSUN. Designers were not afraid to take risks with colorful designs juxtaposing different fabrics and styles.

This year’s autumn/winter show also featured several children’s lines, more than usual for Beijing Fashion Week. The children’s industry is booming in China. In fact, according to China’s National Bureau of Statistics, urban Chinese spend nearly 30 percent of their spending budget on their children. With the overall luxury spending slowdown in China, children’s lines can give these brands additional boost.

Bomayte by Haitao, jnby by JNBY, and Comme Tu Es showed off their new children’s lines:
