Suzhou is often dubbed the “Venice of the East.” The city’s canals, stone bridges, pagodas, and beautiful gardens have made it one of the top tourist attractions in China. The city also benefits from its close proximity to Shanghai.

Suzhou now has its first Prada store in the Matro Mall.

The 750 sqm split-level store offers women’s and men’s collection of ready-to-wear, leather goods, accessories and footwear.

The ground floor level houses women’s ready-to-wear and footwear, women’s bags and accessories. With a green canvas wall covering, beige carpeting, and green velvet sofas, the space is an elegant setting of soft, cozy lines.

A second entrance on the first floor is dedicated to the men’s collections. The space has a more masculine decor of ebony finish, polished-steel furniture, and dark velvet chairs.

Prada’s Tianjin store in the Galaxy Mall, which opened in September, has a similar design and layout.
