Lane Crawford, a leading retailer in Hong Kong and Beijing, unveiled its gorgeous Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott-photographed fall ad campaign that features all top Chinese models. The ad campaign tips its hat to Asian power.
The luxury retailer sends a strong signal to the arrival of China in the international fashion space by bringing together five of China’s top models – Fei Fei Sun, Liu Wen, Ming Xi, Shu Pei and Xiao Wen Ju – and pairing them with designs from top international fashion brands such as Alexander McQueen, Dries Van Noten, Balenciaga, and Lanvin.
“The campaign combines a stunning array from renowned international fashion brands with the strongest Chinese faces to create a fascinating and powerful shot,” according to the retailer.
A fashion foward retailer, Lane Crawford arrived in Beijing in 2007 and has become a place to see and be seen in Beijing.
Early this year, the retailer announced plans to open three new stores in China by 2014. A huge 150,000 square foot flagship store in Shanghai is planned for summer 2012. Another Beijing store and a store in fast rising Chengdu are also in the works.
