French fashion house Lanvin looks to make a striking impression in booming mainland China, starting with a huge Beijing flagship, the brand’s largest store in Asia. The three story, 556 sq meter store is located in Sanlitun North Village, the city’s hottest shopping area.
The interior of the boutique with its blend of dramatic and refined materials gives off a luxurious chic apartment feel with a hint of a private club — intimate and comfortable – designed for leisure browsing. The top floor, done up in stunning red lacquer, holds a salon space for exclusive private sales and fittings.
Dotted throughout the store are small pedestal tables, oval chests, and gleaming steel shelves. The stairwell leading upstairs pays homage to Lanvin’s Paris flagship store. The second floor features a prominent gray lacquered lined wall and houses the men’s collection.
The boutique carries both men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections as well as pieces from the “Blanche”, “22 Faubourg”, “Tailoring” and “Swim” capsule collections.
