Hong Kong-based luxury retailer, Lane Crawford, now offers online shopping for mainland China on lanecrawford.com.
The site, which has e-commerce and editorial content in both English and Mandarin, features women’s ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories. Other categories such as men’s wear, cosmetics, home and lifestyle products will be added later.
Making the online shopping experience quick and easy, Lane Crawford offers same-day delivery for Hong Kong and Beijing and next-day delivery in key cities.
“We have great ambitions for e-commerce and have a long journey ahead of us, but we have an expert team and a very detailed road map of innovation and development around product offer, site features and customer experience, which is very exciting,” said Andrew Keith, president of Lane Crawford.
The retailer is opening more stores in China as well. A 150,000-square-foot flagship in Shanghai is slated to open in the first half of 2013, and new stores in Beijing and Chengdu will open in the next two years.
