Come 2012, Sara Happ‘s beauty products will be available in mainland China.
Sara Happ’s lip care brand has been a favorite of beauty lovers since she launched the brand in 2005 after leaving her job as a journalist with ESPN.
“Our goal is to exfoliate and hydrate. Every product has to solve a specific problem and do it the first time you use it,” said Happ.
The Lip Scrub, a product she created to prevent her lips from looking dull, dry, and flaky, has gained a cult following. “The feeling of seriously smooth, glowing lips after sloughing off dead cells is what I was looking for.” said Happ.
Celebrities devotees include Jessica Alba, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Lopez, and Renee Zellweger.
Currently, the lip care line consists of The Lip Scrub which comes in seven varieties and The Lip Slip, a luxe lip balm. A lip gloss, The Lip Slip One Luxe Gloss will come out in 2012.
Early this year, Happ introduced The Body Scrub in a vanilla bean scent and will expand the body line to include a body cream, The Body Slip, next year.
The brand is currently sold in about 300 stores in 16 countries outside of Canada and the US.
